H1B (H-1B) Visa Business Plans
H1B (H-1B) Visas are used by U.S. employers seeking to hire nonimmigrant aliens as workers in specialty occupations. A specialty occupation is one that requires the application of a body of highly specialized knowledge and the attainment of at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

H-1B Business Plans
Smaller businesses and start-ups often need to prove their operational and financial viability to compensate foreign employees, while larger companies find this easier. Furthermore, newer and smaller companies receive more scrutiny from USCIS.
Our detailed business plans help attorneys strengthen H-1B petitions by presenting a comprehensive view of smaller companies and start-ups, including their operations, products, market analysis, and financial projections. Our plans also include detailed staffing plans and projected organizational charts, ensuring that the H-1B beneficiary is relieved from performing non-qualifying duties.
We specialize in writing customized business plans for start-ups and small businesses vying for the best and the brightest foreign talent across the globe.
We deliver professional, customized, and solid business plans that are fully aligned with your immigration goals and strategies. Our specialists draw from their diverse backgrounds in finance and business to bring highly detailed and credible plans that meet USCIS adjudication standards. We have a full understanding of the process and can help take you closer to your goals.

Have Questions?
-
Does Visa Business Plans prepare H-1B business plans?
Yes. Visa Business Plans prepares custom business plans and supporting documentation for H-1B petitions, particularly for cases involving entrepreneurial or ownership structures that require extra documentation of the employer-employee relationship and business viability.
-
Why would an H-1B petition involving a self-owned business need a business plan?
A business plan helps demonstrate that the petitioning company is a legitimate, operating business with a genuine specialty-occupation position and the financial capacity to pay the required wage, which is especially important when the beneficiary has an ownership stake in the petitioning company.
-
Can I use an H-1B visa to start or run my own company?
It's possible but more complex — the petitioning U.S. employer must demonstrate a genuine employer-employee relationship with the right to control the applicant's work, which requires additional structuring (such as an independent board with hire/fire authority) when the applicant is also the business owner.
